Any piece
in Acoustic Levitation is just one informed person's perspective, intended
for the independent, intelligent reader.
Our shared
goal is discussion and education and fun, via description, analysis, evaluation,
reaction and provocation - all in support of the arts, culture, and music.
Each contributor
follows her own drummer, each one uses his own voice. We'd rather follow a
Second Line than a Party line. We are politically aware, but not politically
correct.
Without both
the creators and the audience we'd never know whether the tree lives in the
forest, let alone stands or falls. It takes an entire forest to provoke a
village.
We may not
agree with each other: harmony without dissonance is usually propaganda or
pablum. We have no one to please but our readers and ourselves.
